Blogger Camille Whiting of Friday We’re in Love recently enjoyed a fun, family getaway to Palm Springs, California – a place known for Hollywood vacations and lavish style. Hesitant at first to make the trip with a toddler in tow, Camille and her husband were happy to discover tons of family-friendly attractions. From hiking trails and zoos to waterparks, check out their list of the best things to do with kids when you visit the desert hot spot.
Here were some of our favorites:
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway: Gorgeous mountain views, an escape from the heat, and a fun relaxing ride everyone can enjoy.
Living Desert Zoo & Gardens: A mix of a botanical garden and a zoo, and one of the top places the tourism board recommends for families.
Wet ‘n’ Wild Waterpark: Camille points out that the easy-to-navigate park offers plenty of life jackets for its smallest visitors and slides they can enjoy too.
Dips in the pool: The desert makes for pool weather all year long. Stay in a vacation rental home with a pool in the backyard, and enjoy it during your entire trip.
The Air and Space Museum: So much WWII and Vietnam War history, with close-up views of planes. If you have a plane loving little one, this is an exceptionally fun family-friendly place.
