Looking for a night of family fun? Head to the Surfside Beach 4th of July Festival. Starting at 6:00 p.m., enjoy a free show by Celebration Music Theatre’s cast and stars as well as inflatables for kids of all ages. Be sure to save yourselves a spot on the beach to watch the extravagant fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
Cupcake Eating Contest
Love sweets? You’ll want to check out Croissants Bistro and Bakery in Myrtle Beach on July 4th for their annual Cupcake Eating Contest with the Reggie Sanders Foundation to raise awareness for Autism. Enjoy music, food and other family-friendly Myrtle Beach ideas throughout the day before the main event at 3:00 p.m.
Independence Day 5K/8K
If you’re looking for a great reason to get active, join the Independence Day 5K/8K race held annually. Start celebrating early at 7:30am with a beautiful scenic run through The Market Common and the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.
